This reminds me of Picasso's "Blue Nude," which by the way is the painting hanging right above my bed. The head down and sort of a slumping posture portrays a growing despondence, much like Blue Nude's mourning. This person seems lost, perhaps walking aimlessly. But this is just my interpretation. I tend to see the darker more poignant side of things.I love the feeling it evoked as soon as I saw #9.
Dear Linjen,Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my blog. That's so kind of you.I am feeling humbly grateful and happy you looked at my drawing and then also wrote such a detailed and warm personal comment showing your feelings. This I cherish.Your words: slumping, despondence and aimlessly feel in place and were unconsciously in my mind I guess. Linjen, thanks for all your lovely words.I owe you a "XXX large cup of coffee with cream and sugar" ;)Kind regards,Inge Justa
Always a pleasure. I look forward to seeing more. Do you sell your drawings? Looking forward to our XXX cup of coffee. All the best,L.
